The ‘Tournesol’ is a very nice and rural country-house which dates of the 18th century and which is situated in the ‘Aveyron’ area in the south of France. The country-house consists of bed and breakfast rooms, a restaurant where you can enjoy dinner, a bar and mini-camping with a superb view. This place represents the real France with its liberty and quietness. Having a nice holiday in a marvellous area this is all possible at our nice country-house the ‘Tournesol’. There is a nice swimming pool, a playground for children, a ‘jeu de boules’ course and we also have a sauna and hot tub whirlpool.
The Tournesol is open during the whole year and except summer holidays we also organize activities and active holidays, such as cycle holidays, holidays for elderly, family holidays, yoga holidays etc. We have holidays for groups but also for individuals according to their own wishes and desires.
Our country-house is about 5 minutes from the nice town of Sainte-Geneviève where you have a lot of shops, restaurants activities and other things.
The surroundings are famous for its wonderful countryside and superb views which are loved by cyclists and hikers. In the area of Aubrac you’ll find the famous ‘Gorges de Truyère’ (gap of Truyère) which you have to see.
You can also make an excursion along the river which brings you to very nice castles and small villages, the weir of Sarrans, a fishing-pond and a lake where you can practice aquatics. Moreover you can also visit Chaudes-Aigues with the warmest spring-water of entire Europe (82°). It’s also very interesting to pay a visit to Laguiole with its cheese factory and its cutlery. In the surroundings there are also 10 ski-lifts for skiing in winter. Enjoy the pure country life at our Tournesol premises in the south of France!
